PROGRESS

35,000

For a hardworking person, it is expected that he/she should have progressed to a higher level after a considerable period of time. Sometimes, there are some people who apart from the amount of input into their work either as self-employed or as a salary earner,  yet they cannot feel the commensurable return in terms of profit, promotion or result,  such people feel frustrated and wonder what on earth has happened to them.

Description

For a hardworking person, it is expected that he/she should have progressed to a higher level after a considerable period of time. Sometimes, there are some people who apart from the amount of input into their work either as self-employed or as a salary earner,  yet they cannot feel the commensurable return in terms of profit, promotion or result,  such people feel frustrated and wonder what on earth has happened to them. More often than not, this type of situation is as a result of spiritual problem or attack from the agent of darkness.  At African Heritage Naturalist Care Ltd, we have the where-withal to assist those people to overcome such situation. Thereafter, he/she shall then begin to experience progressive success.

In a stanza of {IRETE- OGBE} ifá says thus

Erin   ńlá   lọ   lórí ọta

A o r’ẹ́sẹ̀ erin

A o r’ẹ́sẹ̣̀ erin

Ẹfọ̀n ńlá lọ lórí ọta

A   o   r’ẹ́sẹ̀   ẹfọ̀n

A o r’ẹ́sẹ̣̀ ẹfọ̀n

Àgbàgbàíìrí òjò o ńlọ lórí ọta

A ma r’ẹ́sẹ̀ eji gbùrùgbùrù

Dífá fun Ọ̀rúnmìlà

Níjó  tí  won  ni  ọlá  ifá  o  tiẹ́  ga  mọ́

Ọlá ifá mà nga

Ọ̀fùlẹ̀fùlẹ̀

Ọlá ifá mà nga,   Ọ̀fùlẹ̀fùlẹ̀

Iwájú lọlá erin ńlọ

Ọ̀fùlẹ̀fùlẹ̀

Ọlá ifá má nga,   Ofùlẹ̀lfùlẹ̀

Iwájú lọlá ẹfọ̀n ńrè

Ọ̀fùlẹ̀fùlẹ̀

Ọlá ifá má nga,   Ofùlẹ̀fùlẹ̣̀

Translation:

A big elephant passed by on the rock

But we did not see its path

A big buffalo passed by on the rock

We did not notice its path

A heavy down pour cascaded down on the rock

The trace of rain was conspicuously noticed

This was the ifá cast for Ọ̀rúnmìlà

When the people noticed that the wealth of ifá is retrogressing

The wealth of ifá is now moving up progressively

Surely the wealth of ifá moving up

The wealth of elephant is ever progressing progressively

Surely the wealth of ifá is moving up

The wealth of buffalo is ever progressing progressively

Surely, the wealth of ifá is moving up.

Another example can be found in the stanza of Ìrẹtẹ̀-Òdí which reads thus:

Ìrọ́kẹ́ Ifá abẹnu ṣínmíní

Díá fún Ọ̀rúnmìlà

Wọ́n ní ọlá Ẹ̀dú ò leè gòkè mọ́

Ifá gbọ́, Ifá rín wọn rín wọn

Ọ̀rúnmìlà sákaalẹ̀ ẹbọ ni ṣíṣe

Bá ni gbáye ru nígbàyí ò

Barapetu, bá ni gbáye ru

Màrìwò ọ̀pẹ̀ á máa gbáyé ru lọ́rùn ọ̀pẹ̀

Barapetu, bá ni gbáye ru

Translation:

The Ifá tapper with its pointed tip (alias)

He cast Ifá for Ọ̀rúnmìlà

When the enemies did not want him to progress in life

When it was brought to the knowledge of Ifá

Ifá simply laughed at them

Ọ̀rúnmìlà offered the necessary ẹbọ

Help me to uplift my life now

Barapetu (Ifá) come and uplift me

The palm fronds are uplifted and stand erect on the palm tree

Barapetu, come and uplift me

Also in Ọ̀kànràn adàsẹ́ nù (Ọ̀kànràn-Ọ̀sé), Ifá says:

Àtẹ́lẹwọ́ sisẹ́- sisẹ́ wọ́n ò lẹ́rú

Àtẹ́lẹṣẹ̀ yẹ̀nà-yẹ̀nà wọ́n ò yá’wọ̀fà

Dífá fun Ọlọ̀kànràn

To tí ńrugbá ìsẹ́ kiri

Wọ́n ni kó sáka-lẹ̀ ẹbọ ni síse

`Njẹ́   ìsẹ́ mi tan o

Ọrọ̀ ló kù

Mo dè ibú ẹri mo wẹ̀ ‘ṣẹ́ nù

Translation:

The palms worked so hard but have nothing to show for it

The sole too toiled so hard but couldn’t make any progress

These were Ifá messages to Ọlọ̀kànràn

The one who has been suffering in poverty

He was advised to offer ẹbọ

He complied

My poverty has now ended

I have been to the deep river to cleanse myself totally of poverty
